“Just wanted to thank you for the many compliments I received on the greatest cherry pie ever. I had found your market on the Wayne County tourism website; I purchased tart cherries from you near the very end of the season, and was very happy with their quality. You were right, a couple were scarred by the hail, but 99% were just perfect. After pitting them, (whew) I froze them, and made a cherry pie this past weekend to share with family coming in from out of town.
I’ll tell you, those cherries stayed plump and pretty, and were a brilliant deep red. And the flavor? Just wonderful. Everyone raved over the pie, that ‘that’s how a cherry pie should taste”. I’ll brag a little about a great piecrust, but the filling was superior.
So thanks very much for a wonderful product. My only regret is I didn’t buy twice as much as I have enough for only a couple more pies. ....oh well, summer’s right around the corner! See you then!”
